Located in the heart of Dublin city, Christ Church Cathedral was founded in 1028 and is a working cathedral. The cathedral hosts evening concerts for over 500, dinners and receptions for up to 250 and a range of workshops and seminars.
Some key statistics:
The cathedral needed a system that could manage the calendar of events, both internal and external, along with a CRM to manage the large amount of contacts. The new system needed to be usable on multiple devices so that staff could access it from anywhere and to be configurable to specific needs. The cathedral had been using Google Calendar to manage all events and no CRM system to store contacts.
"ArtifaxEvent was implemented in a short space of time. The team were fantastic at training all the relevant staff and made sure that we had complete understanding of what the system could do. Training sessions were recorded and sent to us afterwards so we could rewatch if needed and share with new staff. The Artifax Help Centre is extremely helpful for any queries you have and also records suggestions that may later be implemented on the site.
The calendar aspect of ArtifaxEvent has worked extremely well and it is always being updated with new features. The calendar view can be filtered so that each user can see as much or as little as they want at any given time. The sales section of the calendar helps us to see what clients are giving us the most business, how much money is confirmed, provisional, lost, how quickly we are confirming after getting leads, what type of business we are getting, etc. We added ArtifaxAgora for our team at the front desk so they could see what they needed in the calendar without a total overload of information.
For the CRM, we needed something to store our contacts but ArtifaxEvent has given us much more than a phone book. People and organisations can be searched by numerous fields such as location, contact details, an person’s job title, grouped into entity groups, venues holding, status, arrangement type, resources, etc. Contact history, documents, finance and staff can all be attached to an organisation. The same can be attached to a person along with sensitive data, relationships to other people and organisations. It makes everything so clear to know who you are looking for."
