ArtifaxEvent v4.5.6 delivers meaningful improvements to administration, saving behavior, resource visibility, and financial clarity. This release is about reducing friction in complex setups, making key actions easier to find, and giving teams clearer insight into how data, resources, and charges are organized.
Many of these changes quietly remove pain points that slow teams down when systems grow more sophisticated.

A simpler, more unified Administration experience
In v4.5.6, the Administration area has been consolidated into a single, streamlined section. Configuration and Management pages have been brought together, making it easier to find and adjust settings without jumping between different parts of the system.
Settings are now organized by plugin and object, with clear separation between Configuration and Management where relevant. Access permissions behave exactly as before, but the structure is more intuitive and predictable.
For administrators, this means less time hunting for settings and more confidence when managing system configuration.
Save buttons that stay visible when you need them
Saving changes used to be easy to miss on long pages with multiple forms. v4.5.6 introduces pinned Save buttons on key editors, ensuring the primary Save action is always visible at the bottom of the screen.
This improvement reduces accidental data loss, eliminates unnecessary scrolling, and makes saving feel consistent across complex pages. It also lays the foundation for further usability refinements in later releases.
Clearer insight into resource bookings and costs
Several updates in this release improve how resource bookings are displayed and understood.
Users can now adjust room and venue display options directly from overview tables, see unit pricing alongside total costs, and group arrangement resource bookings by event. These views make it easier to understand how resources are allocated and how charges are distributed across activities.
Together, these changes support better decision-making when managing busy schedules and shared resources.
Improved financial clarity for arrangements
v4.5.6 introduces new grouping options in Arrangement Finances that allow charges to be viewed by Invoice Entity and Purchase Order number.
This makes it easier to understand how costs are split across multiple invoice recipients and improves transparency when reviewing or reconciling financial data. For finance teams, this means fewer assumptions and clearer reporting.
Smarter assignment of forms and tasks over time
Custom Forms and Task Sets have been enhanced with new timing-based filters, allowing assignments to respond to when events or arrangements happen, not just when they are created.
This added flexibility makes it easier to manage future programming, automate task assignment, and ensure the right information is captured at the right time, especially in long-running or multi-event arrangements.
Small refinements that strengthen the foundation
This release also includes a range of supporting improvements, including clearer long date format previews, stronger password security requirements, improved handling of third-party application data during entity merges, and clearer indicators when archived price codes are still in use.
While subtle, these changes improve consistency, security, and trust across the system.
Built to reduce friction as systems grow
ArtifaxEvent v4.5.6 focuses on clarity, visibility, and usability in areas that matter most as organisations scale their operations.
