A unified schedule view at the Arrangement level
Prior to v4.5.5, schedules were only available at the Event level. While detailed, this made it harder to understand how multiple events fit together within a single Arrangement.
With this release, Arrangements now include their own Schedule view. All Event schedule entries are brought together into a single, chronological timeline, allowing teams to see how activity unfolds across the full Arrangement without switching between individual events.
This makes it easier to understand sequencing, spot timing pressure points, and communicate plans with greater confidence.
Faster financial updates with bulk charge editing
Managing charges across multiple Events or Resource Bookings can be time-consuming, especially when updates need to be applied consistently.
v4.5.5 expands the Edit Charges functionality so charges can now be updated directly from Event Search and Resource Booking Search. Teams can update large batches of records at once, saving significant time during busy periods or financial reviews.
Safeguards ensure that only eligible records can be edited, reducing the risk of accidental changes while maintaining efficiency.
Clearer pricing intent with Price Promise
To reduce ambiguity around pricing behavior, this release introduces Price Promise, replacing the previous “locked” charge indicator.
Price Promise makes it clear when pricing calculations should remain fixed, rather than implying that the final price itself is locked. The control is now positioned alongside Price Code fields and integrated directly into bulk charge editing, improving transparency and consistency.
This small but important change helps finance teams maintain confidence in how charges are calculated and applied.
Greater flexibility for sub-resource pricing
v4.5.5 expands pricing options for Resource Bookings that use sub-resource totals.
Sub-resources can now be configured as either Net or Gross, giving teams greater flexibility when managing pricing structures. This removes previous limitations while maintaining consistency and clarity within each booking.
More visibility, resilience, and control behind the scenes
This release also includes several supporting improvements that strengthen system reliability and oversight. These include expanded status history tracking for Arrangements and Events, autosave behavior for configuration ordering, improved support for third-party application data, and stronger password security rules.
In addition, graphical calendar headers now support North American date formats, improving clarity for regional teams.
Designed for clearer oversight and stronger control
ArtifaxEvent v4.5.5 enhances how teams view schedules, manage charges, and maintain pricing accuracy across complex Arrangements.
