ArtifaxEvent v4.5.4 released

ArtifaxEvent v4.5.4 introduces important refinements to contracts, pricing control, scheduling clarity, and permissions. This release focuses on giving organisations greater precision in how agreements are configured, tracked, and governed, while reducing friction in day-to-day event management.

More precise contracts with configurable sub-types

This release introduces Contract Sub-types, allowing organisations to move beyond broad contract categories and define more specific agreement types with tailored defaults.

Each sub-type can have its own predefined clauses and options, reducing setup time and ensuring consistency across similar contracts. This makes it easier to manage nuanced agreements while avoiding repetitive configuration or manual adjustment.

Sub-types also improve contract searching and filtering, helping teams quickly locate and manage the agreements they need.

Full visibility into contract status changes

v4.5.4 adds status history tracking for contracts, making it easy to see when and how a contract has progressed.

Users can now view a complete audit trail of status changes, including timestamps, directly from the contract record. Contract search has also been enhanced with new date-based criteria, supporting clearer reporting and oversight.

This improves accountability and makes it easier to understand contract timelines at a glance.

Cleaner contract configuration with clause and option archiving

Over time, contract templates can become cluttered with outdated clauses or options. This release introduces the ability to archive individual clauses or options, helping teams keep configurations clean and relevant.

Archived items are removed from active use without deleting historical data, supporting both compliance and long-term system hygiene.

More flexible price locking and safer price code updates

Price code locking has been adjusted so event dates, times, and certain booking details can still be edited while preserving pricing commitments. In addition, updating price code date ranges now includes clearer prompts, allowing users to decide which events or bookings should be updated or locked based on status.

These changes reduce the risk of unintended pricing changes while preserving operational flexibility.

Clearer event schedules

Event schedules have been enhanced to improve readability and flexibility.

Users can now choose whether to define schedule entries by duration or end time, toggle visibility of end points to reduce visual clutter, and add notes directly to schedule entries. Schedule displays have also been refined to show clearer activity labels, making complex timelines easier to understand.

Greater control over sales process visibility

v4.5.4 introduces Sales Process Stage permissions, giving organisations more control over who can see or edit specific stages within an arrangement’s sales process.

This allows sensitive deals to remain hidden or restricted until appropriate milestones are reached, supporting better governance and role-based access without limiting functionality.

Supporting improvements across search and usability

This release also includes a range of smaller enhancements, including improved search filtering, cleaner deal type management through archiving, and refined pop-up interactions. While subtle, these changes contribute to a more consistent and predictable user experience.
