ArtifaxEvent v4.5.0 delivers foundational improvements to event editing, reporting, calendars, and scheduling visibility. This release focuses on helping teams access more information at a glance, reduce navigation overhead, and plan with greater clarity across busy calendars and complex programmes.
Many of these changes laid the groundwork for the refinements that followed in later 4.5 releases.

A more powerful Quick Event Editor
Building on earlier improvements, v4.5.0 expands the Quick Event Editor with additional tabs that surface key information without leaving the editor.
Schedule, Documents, Resource Bookings, and Programme details can now be viewed directly within the editor when applicable. While read-only, each tab offers clear pathways to deeper detail, allowing users to move quickly between overview and action.
This makes it easier to check, validate, and understand events without interrupting workflow.
Edit events directly from List View
Quick Event Editor access has been extended to List View, giving users more flexibility in how they interact with event data.
Teams can now choose whether clicking an event opens contextual links or launches the Quick Event Editor, enabling fast adjustments directly from search results or list-based workflows.
More flexible report scheduling
Report scheduling has been significantly expanded in v4.5.0.
Reports can now be scheduled on multiple days within a week or on specific days within a month. This added flexibility supports more accurate distribution of operational, financial, and reporting outputs without manual intervention.
These changes improve reliability and reduce the need for workarounds in recurring reporting workflows.
Richer published calendars for teams on the move
Published Calendars have been enhanced to include more contextual event information.
Event schedules can now be included directly within calendar descriptions, alongside references, layouts, capacity, and delegate information. This makes shared calendars far more useful for teams working away from desks, such as Front of House or technical staff.
Calendar merging behavior has also been refined to ensure clarity when multiple events share common details.
Better visibility on availability and booking pressure
Availability Calendars now support a minimum duration filter, allowing users to quickly identify time slots that can realistically accommodate their needs.
Status Calendars have also been refined to better reflect booking pressure. When multiple hold statuses exist on the same date, the calendar now surfaces the least certain hold, acting as a visual indicator of demand and contention.
Together, these updates make calendars more informative and actionable at a glance.
Supporting improvements across planning, search, and data visibility
v4.5.0 includes a wide range of supporting enhancements across the platform. These include richer overview tables, improved financial visibility, refined search criteria, expanded scheduling tools, and broader support for third-party application data.
While individually subtle, these changes strengthen consistency and usability across everyday workflows.
A foundation for the 4.5 series
ArtifaxEvent v4.5.0 establishes key patterns in editing, visibility, and scheduling that underpin many of the improvements that will be introduced in later releases.
