Smarter pricing defaults by Arrangement type
v4.5.3 introduces the ability to assign a Default Price Code at the Arrangement Type level.
This means pricing behavior can now adapt automatically based on the nature of the booking. For example, corporate events, commercial hires, or community use can each apply the appropriate pricing rules from the moment events and resources are created.
By shifting pricing logic higher up the hierarchy, teams spend less time correcting charges and more time focusing on delivery.
Customer contracts join the contracts suite
This release adds Customer Contracts, expanding ArtifaxEvent’s contract capabilities beyond artists and staffing.
Customer Contracts are created directly from the Arrangement and support configurable clauses and options. This makes it easier to generate consistent, professional agreements that reflect the terms between the venue and the customer, without rebuilding contracts from scratch each time.
The result is faster contract preparation and greater consistency across agreements.
Faster contract setup with multi-select clauses
Building on the new contract capabilities, v4.5.3 introduces multi-select clause assignment.
Instead of adding clauses one by one, users can now select multiple clauses and options in a single action. Defaults are applied automatically where configured, reducing repetitive work and speeding up contract creation for complex agreements.
Combined invoice and credit note search
Invoice and Credit Note searches have been consolidated into a single, more flexible search.
Users can now search invoices, credit notes, or both together using the same criteria, with existing saved and shared searches carried over automatically. This reduces duplication and makes financial review and reconciliation more efficient.
Supporting improvements across sales, security, and integrations
This release also includes a range of supporting enhancements. Sales Process Stages marked as Won or Lost can now be reordered for clearer presentation. Published calendars benefit from improved security through regeneratable and more complex URLs. Calendar filtering has been refined for greater flexibility, and reports can now be exported in additional formats.
In addition, Third-Party Applications can now be managed directly through the user interface, helping reduce duplication and improve data consistency.
Designed for stronger commercial control
ArtifaxEvent v4.5.3 strengthens how pricing, contracts, and financial data are managed across Arrangements, giving teams more confidence and control as complexity grows.
