Get paid faster with online payment processing
v4.5.8 introduces a new Payment Processing module that allows customers to pay invoices online through a secure, Stripe-powered checkout.
Invoices issued from Artifax can now include a simple “Pay Now” option. Payments are automatically matched to the correct invoice, removing the need for manual reconciliation and reducing delays caused by bank transfers or follow-up emails.
For finance teams, this means clearer payment visibility, stronger cash flow, and fewer month-end headaches. For customers, it delivers a faster, more modern payment experience.
Clearer decisions during event creation with the new Clashes tab
Creating events often involves navigating overlapping schedules, room constraints, and resource availability. In this release, clash handling in the New Event Wizard has been completely reworked.
Instead of responding to multiple pop-up warnings, users are now shown a dedicated Clashes tab that presents all conflicts in one clear view. Each clash explains the reason, highlights whether it can be overridden, and helps users decide how to proceed before finalizing creation.
This change improves confidence, reduces disruption, and gives teams greater visibility and control when working with complex schedules.
A clearer, more consistent graphical calendar
The graphical calendar has received a series of refinements designed to improve clarity, alignment, and performance, while preserving familiar workflows.
Updates include improved alignment across rooms and rows, clearer date and time headers at different zoom levels, consistent day styling across views, and better visibility when filters are applied. Performance has also been improved, particularly for organizations managing large or programming-heavy calendars.
Together, these changes make it easier to scan, interpret, and trust calendar information at a glance.
Faster, safer data imports with a smarter Entity Import Wizard
The Entity Import process has been enhanced to make bulk data management more transparent and reliable.
Imports now support Custom Fields, provide clearer validation feedback, and generate detailed logs so users can quickly understand what was imported and why. Existing records are updated intelligently without overwriting existing data, and imported entities can be assigned to meaningful groups during the process.
This makes it easier to bring large datasets into Artifax with confidence and less cleanup afterward.
Cleaner configuration with expanded archiving and smarter defaults
Administrators will notice several improvements aimed at reducing clutter and improving control across configuration areas.
Archiving has been expanded to more configuration types and redesigned to make actions clearer and safer. Price Code management has also been refined, with smarter default logic and a cleaner editing experience that reduces scrolling and confusion.
These updates help keep systems tidy, consistent, and easier to maintain over time.
More flexible automation and everyday usability improvements
Automation conditions have been expanded across arrangements, events, and resource bookings, allowing workflows to respond more easily to changes without overly specific rules.
Alongside this, v4.5.8 includes a wide range of smaller usability improvements, including better save behavior, clearer change warnings, improved exports, and faster ways to manage users and groups. Individually subtle, these refinements collectively reduce friction and prevent avoidable errors.
Built to support real-world operations
ArtifaxEvent v4.5.8 delivers meaningful progress across payments, scheduling, and system management. While some improvements are immediately visible, others quietly make everyday work smoother, faster, and more reliable.
