Eamon dabbled briefly with business studies in early ’90s Ireland, but soon decided that a career in the creative sector was a better plan. He completed a City & Guilds diploma in studio sound engineering, via the University of Westminster, and spent several years working long days and late nights with a variety of artists in Temple Lane Studios.
Years later, following sales and business-development roles in publishing, education, big tech and an NGO, his sound-engineering experience came into play again as he began working with numerous English-language amateur-dramatic groups in Brussels. Beginning during his theatre years, and continuing throughout his time teaching English in Istanbul, Eamon worked on adapting a 1940s novella into a full-length play. It currently sits gathering digital dust in a folder of many drafts on his personal computer. Undeterred, he is currently researching and planning his second full-length dramatic creation.
Eamon plays the guitar poorly, flirts with the mandolin, and recently purchased a piano for reasons unknown.
