Andy is the Managing Director of Artifax and he joined in November 2002 as an Application Consultant within the Support and Training team. In 2005 he joined Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank corporate conferencing audio-visual team. Involved in the launch of a state-of-the-art auditorium and suite of video conferencing meeting rooms, this role provided Andy with valuable further insight into the use of event and venue management systems in a live environment, together with an increased appreciation of conferencing business needs. Invited to return to Artifax in Spring 2007, Andy has experienced a steady climb to the top ever since then!
Andy studied at the British Record Industry Trust (BRIT) School in the late 90’s. Prior to joining Artifax, Andy worked with The Colour House Theatre, which specialises in producing children’s musical shows, and Abbeyfest, an annual festival of theatre, comedy and music. Andy’s roles included Composer, Musical Director, Technical Director and Duty Manager. Whilst with the theatre Andy designed and developed their web based bespoke venue management system with features including CRM, scheduling, quoting, invoicing, online ticket sales, box office management and stock control.
